Our lead dentist, Dr. David Kim, was one of the first to enter implant dentistry and is exceptionally skilled in highly advanced procedures such as sinus, bone, and soft tissue grafts as well as implant placement. His wealth of knowledge and compassion for his patients makes him a truly great practitioner.

Dr. Kim received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University in 1986. He then served as Director at the Morris Heights Community Health Center for several years. In 1993, Dr. Kim began his implantology training at NYU. Upon completion of the program, he served as an associate professor at the Arthur Ashman Implantology and Periodontic program for many years and currently serves as an Associate Director at the NYU Linhart CDE Implantology and Prosthetic Program.

Dr. Kim has earned many awards and recognitions in his career. He has earned the Fellowship and Diplomate of the ICOI; Certificate of Achievement from NYUCD for Implantology: Surgical and Prosthetic treatment; and a Certificate in advanced surgical and prosthetic procedures in Implantology from the Misch Institute. Dr. Kim is currently a member of many organizations including Diplomat of the International Congress of Implantologists, Fellow of the International Congress of Implantologists, and the Academy of Osseointegration to name a few. Dr. Kim enjoys golf and exercise during his off time.
